Your love for them is strong,
even though this unfriendly world has destroyed
and made everything wrong.
You can't sleep, you can't eat,
You want to, but you try hard not to weep.
The love you have cannot be pushed away,
Not even on the gloomiest, and darkest day.
You want them back, You’d do whatever it may take
But they won't let you back, for fear of both your lives at stake
Each day lingers,
yet you wish each day would pass like a snap of a finger.
Confusion, and sorrow run through your mind,
life without them, makes everything dark, as if you were blind.
When you talk to them, the tensions are high,
but all you can do is grin and bear, then sigh.
You hope, wish and pray things will return to the way they were,
even though, at times, it seems like all you had is now a blur.
